Our analytical services cover solid state characterization of polymorphs, hydrates, solvates, co-crystals and amorphous phase of active pharmaceutical ingredients in bulk and in drug product. With use of cutting edge x-ray powder diffraction technology (XRPD), solid state NMR and thermal techniques like MDSC and TG, we can determine presence of small amounts of polymorphic forms in a drug product. We can also estimate crystallinity of API in bulk or in a drug product. We determine, from powder data, the crystal structures of difficult to determine structures of channel hydrates and other APIs and elucidate differences between API forms. We screen for salts and their polymorphs and for hydrates and their polymorphs. We investigate polymorphic phase transitions caused by foreseeable or incidental changes in manufacturing or storage conditions.
